RV Parks & Resorts

We haven’t been everywhere…yet. But here’s a review of some of the RV Parks and Resorts that we stayed at and some of our thoughts on them.

Note: All these resorts had full hook ups, level sites and wifi, unless otherwise noted in the description.

N. California

Redwood Resort RV Park – Nice, quiet and clean. Not new by any means and a few long term residents, but overall a pride of ownership. Wifi only worked if you were on the patio area.

Olema Campground

Oregon (Portland Area)

Pheasant Ridge RV Resort – This was the nicest RV resort we stayed at to date. The grounds were immaculate, had an indoor pool, gym, laundry, on-site shop and were close to shopping like Target, Costco, and a Porsche Dealership. Surprisingly the Portland area didn’t have many RV parks and so I think that’s why this one developed into premium status. We felt like we were bringing the place down with our 2007 Class C when most RV’s there were 2015 and newer Class A beauties.

Washington (Seattle Area)

Blue Sky RV Park – A pretty high end RV park. Nothing special regarding amenities, but the place was very well taken care of and the rigs there were nice as well. The guy running the place was also very helpful. This place books out though so make reservations far in advance!

British Columbia (Vancouver Area)

Capilano RV Resort – Excellent location! Located just on the other side of Lion’s Gate Bridge, so a quick drive into the city. Staff, minus one grumpy groundskeeper, were very friendly. Also nearby was a great shopping mall so you’re pretty much in the middle of a big city.
